Mary Doyle

Mary Doyle of Knob Lick passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, at the age of 85 years. She was born on May 14, 1924, at East Prairie, MO, daughter of the late Mary (Mansfield) and Joseph King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Leon Doyle, and three brothers, Jack, Tom and Junior King. Mrs. Doyle was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing and listening to music at Rocky Bottom at Fredericktown. She will be greatly missed by all and that includes five children, Louise Fields of Knob Lick, Robert Woody Canter (Mary) of Milford, IL, Dicie Jones (Eulis) of Cahokia, IL, Sue Miranda of Farmington, and Josph Doyle (Glenda) of Monticello, MN, close campanion, James Rohan of Fredericktown, sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Thursday with a funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Raymond Hannah officiating. Burial will be at Knob Lick Cemetery.
