Mary Christine Diemert

FARMINGTON - Mary Diemert, of Farmington passed away December 22, 2017 at the age of 75 at Country Meadows Nursing Home in Park Hills. She was born December 25, 1941 in Farmington to the late Elmer and Goldie (Clark) Mosier. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Dashke and by her second husband, Kenneth Diemert; two grandchildren, Brandi Penberthy and Michelle Culp; a great grandchild, Aubreigh Skye Penberthy; two brothers, John and Luke Mosier and a sister, Virginia Wells.

Mary will be remembered by her family as a hard worker who worked in the dry cleaning business for many years. She also enjoyed her time spent working as a jewelry sales clerk. In her spare time she liked going to yard sales and trips to the Goodwill Store. Her sons, grandchildren and sisters and brothers were an important part of her life and she loved her daughters-in-law like her own. The family would like to express their gratitude to Nurse Nancy DeClue ,Country Meadows Nursing Home and to Preferred Hospice who all gave Mary compassionate and loving care.

Survivors include her two sons, Darrell (Liz) Penberthy and Dale (Jeri) Penberthy; 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers, Victor (Brenda) Mosier and Ted Mosier; five sisters, Patsy (Henry) Garcia, Margaret Adams, Ruth Ann Rodenberg, Louise Valley and Rita (Tom) Moor; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 7 a.m. until the service beginning at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Country Meadows Activities Fund.
