Mary Ann Kennon

DESLOGE- Mary Ann Kennon, of Desloge, entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2022, at NHC in Desloge at the age of 68. She was born on July 26, 1954, in Farmington, to the late William and Shirley Jean (Barnes) Thomure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kennon, her siblings, Barbara Thomure, Bill Thomure, Fritz Thomure, and Norma Porzeinski, and her sisters-in-law, Janet Thomure and Vicki Thomure. Mary is survived by her sons, William Kennon of Farmington and Greg Kennon of Farmington, her siblings, Paul Thomure of Farmington, Dorothy Thomure of Farmington, and Pam (Chris) Hux of Farmington, her sister-in-law, Tammy Thomure of Farmington, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mary enjoyed watching wrestling and gospel shows, writing poetry, drawing, playing cards but mostly loved spending time with her family. She had a sweet tooth with a love for gooey butter cake and cherry Pepsi. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17 until time of service at 10:00 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel officiated by Pastor Rick Hensley. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery.
