Mary Ann Burch

FARMINGTON Mary Ann Burch, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on May 2, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital at the age of 67. She was born on August 28, 1956, in Chanute, Illinois, to Harold "Gene" and Alma "Tommie" (Murphy) Hawkins. Mary Ann is survived by her mother, Alma "Tommie" Hawkins of Farmington, her husband of 46 years, Thomas Burch, her children, Kristee (John) Bloom of Irondale and Keith (Casey) Burch of Farmington, her grandchildren, Lindsay Bloom, Ty Burch, and Brody Burch, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father, Harold "Gene" Hawkins and her sister, Linda Hawkins. Mary Ann worked as the office manager for Auffenberg of Farmington for 20 years and most recently worked as a bank teller for New Era Bank. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Doe Run Church of God. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed working in the yard, taking road trips, and shopping. She adored her grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events. Mary Ann will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. in the Cozean chapel officiated by Dr. Darlene Williams, Pastor Tom Bequette, and Pastor Donn Adamson. Interment to follow at Knob Lick Cemetery.
