Mary Alice Tiffany

Mary Alice Tiffany of Farmington passed away November 12, 2011 at the age of 91 years. She was born on August 13, 1920, at Thayer, MO, daughter of the late Minnie Mae (McCord) and Ira Edgar Evans. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Tiffany, two brothers, Alva and Bill Evans, three sisters, Alma Rogers, Mabel Hilton and Bess Jackson, and a son-in-law, Robert Eads. Mrs. Tiffany was a proud member of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Sarah Barton Murphy Chapter of the DAR. She was also a member of the Flat River Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her, including her daughter, Sharon Eads of Farmington, a granddaughter, Jaime Danesi of Alexandria, VA, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 7 a.m. with a funeral service at 9 a.m. with the Reverend Bryan Schaefer officiating. Graveside services will be held at Thayer City Cemetery, Thayer, MO, at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon with Brother Lee Moses Officating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
