FARMINGTON - Martha Coleman, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2022, at Camelot Skilled Nursing Home at the age of 71. She was born November 8, 1950 in Senath, Missouri to the late Duprez Parish and Geneva (St. Clair) Parish. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Coleman on September 1, 2020 and two brothers, William Duprez Parish and Donald Lee Parish. Martha moved with her family to St. Louis after her father's death where she attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School. As a teenager she was a professional model for Libson stores. While in St Louis, she met and married Kenneth Coleman in 1970 and they were married for 50 years until his passing. After their son Jason was born in 1973, they moved with her widowed mother to Farmington where she lived with her family in the country on several acres. After graduating from beauty school, she became a beautician and was the owner of the New Image Beauty Salon for many years until she retired. She was an avid reader and she absolutely adored all dogs. She was extremely knowledgeable of world events and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Jason Coleman; one grandchild, Ivy Coleman; Ivy's mother, Keren Wade; nieces and nephews, Cory Parish, Loree Amsden, Leesa Parish and Donna Vandiver and sister-in-law, Sandy Parish. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel officiated by Reverend Nicole James.
