Marsha Susanne Murphy

FARMINGTON Marsha "Susanne" Murphy, of Belleview, MO, passed away on January 28, 2023 at Potosi Manor at the age of 75. She was born December 5, 1947, to the late Lyman D. Hoehn and Loretta C. (Jaster) Hoehn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Murphy and her two sons, Steven Earl Murphy and Peter Darrell Murphy. Susanne is survived by her son Scott Murphy of Mineral Point, MO; his son Jordan Murphy and wife Emi, and their three children, Karlee, Brinlee and Zaid of Ohio; another grandchild, Briana Laborce and husband Jeffery, and their children Taylor, Landon and Noah of Fredericksburg, VA and grandchild, Ali Murphy and her son Kentley of Jacksonville, NC; a much loved nephew, Tim Harnetz of Illinois and a daughter by choice, Heather Hulsey and her son Trace of Bonne Terre, MO. Also surviving are a host of friends, too numerous to mention. Susanne grew up in Bonne Terre and went on to enjoy a 40 year career as a lab technician at Mineral Area Hospital and Parkland Hospital. She loved raising chickens, gardening, baking and sewing. She was a "mother" to all and made everyone feel welcome with her warm sense of humor and her ability to make friends easily. She was often lovingly referred to as "Momma Murphy". Most everyone would agree that Susanne was a "Ball of Fire" and that she will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
