Mark Alan Turner

IRONTON Mark Alan Turner, of Ironton, passed away on February 7, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 61. He was born on September 7, 1962, in Corning, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Marcella (Hager) Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Bree Danielle Davis. Mark is survived by his soulmate of 33 years, Susan Nickelson of Ironton, his son, Cody Danback, his sisters, Deronda (Max) Rinas of Independence and Cindy Hearst of Independence, his stepchildren, Jacob Nickelson and Jason Nickelson, his grandchildren, Asa Nickelson, Robert Nickelson, and Jenna Harman, two soon to be great grandchildren, his sister-in-law, Sherry Agers of Tiff, along with many friends, his two dogs and five cats. Mark worked as a truck driver for Flanigan Trucking and loved his job. He was a lifelong fishing and hunting partner to his father, Tom. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a Kansas City Chiefs fan. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Per Marks request, no formal services will be held.
