Marjorie "Pauline" Bloom

FARMINGTON -Marjorie Pauline Bloom of Farmington passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Parkland Health Center in Farmington at the age of 80 years. She was born February 21, 1934 at Ash Grove, Missouri daughter of the late Elbert D. and Ruby F. (Lewis) Slatten. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Bloom, two daughters Sharon Kay Bloom and Tammy Lynn Bloom, a grandson Jeremy Vandiver, and a brother Charles Slatten. She is survived by her children Charles (& Donna) Bloom, Beverly (& Terry) Vandiver, Nina (& Ron) Buckingham, and Becky ( & Gary) Henson, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, special friends Mary & John Griffon, and numerous other relatives and good friends. Friends may call Monday, November 3, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Cozean Chapel with the Reverend Mike McGee officiating. Interment will be in the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
