Marjorie Jean Bollinger

Marjorie Jean Bollinger of Farmington passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at the age of 84. She was born on September 3, 1929, at Perryville, daughter of the late Joseph L. and Caroline (Amberger) Hoffman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Naeger. Marjorie was a 1947 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Perryville. On February 27, 1954 she married the love of her life, Carl Bollinger. They made their home in Farmington where they raised their three children. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, playing bridge, gardening and traveling. She will be most remembered for the great love she had for her beloved family. In addition to her husband, Carl, she is survived by her three children, Mark (Dianne) Bollinger of Columbia, Nancy (Larry) Oehler of St. Louis and David (Heidi) Bollinger of Harrison Township, MI; five grandchildren, Curtis Bollinger, Alex Bollinger, Michelle (Brendan) Wright, Kevin Oehler and Julie Oehler; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Sunday, September 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume in the funeral home on Monday beginning at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Father Rickey Valleroy as celebrant.
