Marie Magdalene Aubuchon

FARMINGTON Marie M. AuBuchon, of Farmington, passed away August 30, 2016 at the age of 96 years. She was born May 17, 1920 in Bonne Terre to the late Joseph W. and Annie (Schmidt) Kettinger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ernest J. AuBuchon; five brothers, William, Lawrence, Leonard, Leo and Francis Kettinger and one sister, Elizabeth Boschert.

Marie was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her family will cherish the memory of her kind and giving nature. Throughout her life she enjoyed quilting and made many beautiful quilts.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (Thomas) Hill and son, Paul J. (Deborah) AuBuchon, all of Farmington; four grandchildren, Laura (David) Danieley of Farmington, Timothy (Emily) Hill of Jackson, MO, Molly AuBuchon of Plano, TX and Jane (Jeramiah) Hunt of Lynnville, TN; seven great grandchildren, Haleigh, Sarah, Hayden, Riley, Madelynn, Henry and Olive; and a special friend and caregiver, Charla Barker. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 5 8 p.m. with a Holy Rosary Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Rickey Valleroy as Celebrant.
