Marie Edith Coonce

GRANDIN Marie Edith Coonce, of Grandin, passed away at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital on April 25, 2019 at the age of 93. She was born June 13, 1925 to the late Shelby and Lillian (Roam) Joplin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Coonce; two brothers, Harold Joplin and John Joplin and a sister, Virginia Hancock. Marie and her late husband, Dave, enjoyed living on the farm. She enjoyed working on the farm, caring for her little dogs and traveling to many destinations throughout her life. Survivors include her sisters, Flossie Haynes and Betty Brooks, a brother, Shelby "Gene" Joplin; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington with Rev.
