Marie Alma Arnett

FARMINGTON Marie Alma Arnett of Farmington entered eternal rest on April 24, 2024, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing at the age of 76. She was born on June 14, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan to John E. and Ella V. (Ange) Nannberg. Marie is survived by her children, Carol (Bart) Goetz of Farmington, Ray (Jennifer) Arnett Jr. of Anderson, South Carolina, and John (Shelley) Arnett of Dandridge, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Autum) Goetz, Hannah Goetz, Caleb Goetz, Naomi (Aaron) Fox, Joshua Goetz, Kathleen Arnett, Faith Arnett, Ashleigh Arnett, Levi Arnett, Jordan Arnett, and Josiah Arnett; her sisters, Jane Nannberg, Nancy Dixon, and Debbie (Ken) Haley, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marie is preceded in death by her parents and her infant grandson, Samuel Goetz. Marie graduated from the Henry Ford School of Nursing in 1977 and spent many years working as a registered nurse. She spent most of her nursing career working in the operating room. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, traveling, playing the piano, and listening to audio books. She attended church at the Faith Baptist Church in Farmington. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel officiated by Reverend Bart Goetz. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Faith Baptist Church, 625 Burks Rd, Farmington, MO 63640.
