Margaret Sue Germeroth of Farmington passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the age of 91 years. She was born October 2, 1919, in Saint Louis, daughter of the late Jacob Schroer and Adeleine (Koeln) Schroer. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-two years, Charles Henry Germeroth, her son-in-law, David Roderman, and many other loved ones. Prior to and during WWII she was a skilled cartographer for the US Government. She was active in a number of civic organizations and activities. Together with husband Charles, she was instrumental in the founding and development of the St. Louis South County YMCA in 1975. She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Roderman of Farmington; a son, Dr. Jack (Vanessa) Germeroth of Rogersville; four grandchildren, Dr. Rhonda (Martin) Moffit of Farmington, Carla (Randy) Gibbs of Norman, Oklahoma, Katie (Greg) Jeluso and Jessica Germeroth all of Las Vegas, Nevada; six great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Lauren, Jessica, Mikaila, Trenton and Garrett. Many other relatives and friends also survive. Margaret was a doting mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel on Gravois Road in Saint Louis on Wednesday, February 23. Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans Associations.
