Margaret Mary Barber

FARMINGTON - Margaret Mary Barber of Farmington, passed away August 17, 2016 at the age of 79. She was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on October 8, 1936 to the late Florian and Margaret (Trupka) Koppeis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren and all of her siblings, Francis, Carl, Fred, Laura, C. E. "Koppie" and Florian.

Margaret was a life long resident of the area having worked for many years at the pants factory in Farmington. She was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her excellent cooking skills will be fondly remembered by her family, especially her fried chicken, pies and chocolate cakes. Margaret loved working crossword puzzles and watching scary movies in her spare time.

Survivors include her children, Bob (Susan) Barber, Ken Barber, Margaret (Bob) Roussin, Charles Barber, Pat Barber and Richard (Anne) Barber; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a host of extended family.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 5 8 on Sunday, August 21, 2016. Visitation will resume on Monday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Father Abe Arganiosa as celebrant.
