Margaret Ann "Pee Wee!" Stark

Margaret Ann Stark of Farmington passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at the age of 53 years. She was born on July 4, 1957, at Belleville, IL, the daughter of Joann (Francis) Mell and the late Robert Lewis Orton. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fern and Cecil Francis and Margaret and Lewis Orton. A lifelong resident of the area, Margaret graduated from Farmington High School in 1975 and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed by Presbyterian Manor and Parkland Hospital. Margaret was a faithful member of Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown. In her spare time she enjoyed listening to music. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her much loved pets, especially her four legged baby, Katie. Margaret is survived by her husband, Clyde "Ed" Stark, her mother, Joann Mell, three brothers, Rod Mell, Jeff Mell and Lt. Col. Charles Lombardo; four step-children, Yancey Stark, Shawn Stark, Wendy Stark and Charles Stark; four step-grandchildren; a step great-grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, December 3. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning beginning at 7 am until the funeral service at 1 pm in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Cody Royer officiating. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the Farmington Pet Adoption Center or Safe Harbor Hospice Care.
