Mable Lillian Boyd

Mable Lillian Boyd FARMINGTON Mable Lillian Boyd, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2023, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center at the age of 91. She was born in Gravelton, Missouri, on August 15, 1931, to the late Clell and Jane (Stroup) Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Boyd, her siblings, Dorothy (the late Paul) Key, Eulah (the late Bob) Stephens, Delores Moore, Nina Koerner, and Willis "Bud" Myers, and her brother-in-law, Ron Lawrence. Mable is survived by her daughters, Pam (Ashley) Williams of Farmington, Patty (Kerry) Laws of Oklahoma City, OK, Susie Boyd of Farmington, and Sandy (Ron Parmley) Boyd of Wright City, her grandchildren, Angela Laws, Gabe Laws, Lauren (Matt Edgar) Williams, and Brenden Edwards, her sister, Norma Lawrence of St. Louis, her sister-in-law, Helen Myers, her brothers-in-law, Jay Moore and Bob Koerner, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mable was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was active in the Ladies Aid Quilting Group. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting, and cooking. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and never missed a televised game. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington officiated by Pastor Stephen Constien. Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund or to the Ladies Aid Quilting Group, 608 East Columbia Street, Farmington, MO 63640.
