Louella Mae Schoenbeck

FARMINGTON Louella Mae Schoenbeck, of Farmington, formerly of Red Bud, IL, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2023, at Southbrook Nursing Center at the age of 80. She was born on February 4, 1943, in Steelville, IL, to the late Arnold and Elda (Gramenz) Kruse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Elroy Schoenbeck, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alfred and Ruby Stellhorn. Louella was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL. She enjoyed shopping, bingo, boating, camping, crocheting, and loved cats. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Louella is survived by her sons, Dean (Sheila) Schoenbeck of Red Bud, IL and David (Jennifer) Schoenbeck of Farmington, MO, her grandchildren, Logan, Aidan, Sydney and Parker, her brother Ken (Jane) Kruse, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and her special feline fur baby, Bailey. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10235 South Prairie Road, Red Bud, IL officiated by Pastor Scott Hojnacki.
