Lori Sanders

Lori Lee Blair Sanders of Farmington passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the age of 49 years. She was born on December 6, 1962, in Charlotte, NC, daughter of Helen Joanne "Jody" (Hamilton) Blair and the late William Dean Blair. Lori moved to Farmington with her family when she was eight years old. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1981 and went on to graduate from Southwest Missouri State University (now MSU) in Springfield, MO where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Education. For nearly twenty years she taught elementary education in the Morrisville, Missouri school district. She also taught school in Fulton, Missouri for four years. In her spare time Lori enjoyed baking for family and friends, craft projects and helping deliver Meals on Wheels. Her son Britton, was the light of her life and she enjoyed participating in all of his activities. Lori is survived by her son, Britton Dean Sanders; her mother, Helen Joanne "Jody" Blair; her sisters, Teri (Mrs. Rich) Reger of Wildwood and Patti Blair of St. Charles; and two nieces, a nephew and cousins. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 14th at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sanders College Memorial Fund in care of Cozean Memorial Chapel.
