Lisa Gwen Barron

Lisa Gwen (Moore) Barron of Fredericktown passed away September 8, 2011, in her home, at the age of 36 years. She was born February 3, 1975, at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to Janet Lynne Wilson and the late Terry Duane Moore. In addition to her father Lisa was preceded in death by a half brother, Toby Moore and her grandparents, Cotton Shumake, Norma Shumake, Vern Moore and Norma Moore. A 1993 graduate of Farmington High School, Lisa married her high school sweetheart, Andy Barron on October 4, 1997. She and Andy became the parents of Peyton and Chance who were the light of her life. She loved being a stay-at-home mom and was an avid reader. She enjoyed crocheting, NASCAR and watching reality television. Lisas family has many fond memories of traveling together all over the United States. She loved her beloved poodle, Skipper. Survivors include her husband, Andy, her two children, Peyton and Chance; her parents, Janet and George Wilson all of Fredericktown; two sisters, Peggy (Mrs. Jason) Grindstaff and Stephanie (Mrs. Lyndon) Kindle; two half-brothers, Corey Moore and Ricky Moore; a step-sister, Ginger Wilson; a step-brother, Frank Wilson; her mother and father-in-law, Larry and Sheila Barron; a sister-in-law, Amanda Wood and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 11. Visitation will resume Monday morning at 7 a.m. until time for the service at 2 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Carl Cureton officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
