Linda Mae Miller

April 9, 1948 — December 21, 2024

STE. GENEVIEVE—Linda Mae Miller of Ste Genevieve passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 21, 2024, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital at the age of 76.  She was born April 9, 1948, in Yount, Missouri, to the late Thomas Flynn Thompson and Norma M. (Harris) Hawthorne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Hawthorne, and a nephew, Keith Allen.


Linda grew up in Perry County, Missouri.  She attended courses for CNA certification and spent many years as a nurses aide at St. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She loved gardening and had beautiful flower gardens.  She was an amazing cook and baker and enjoyed needlework, painting and sewing.  A voracious reader, Linda was a Christian and loved reading her Bible everyday.


Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Allan Miller and their daughter, Ingrid Michelle Miller of Melbourne, FL; four siblings, Norman "Buck" (Cathy) Thompson, Lucille Burnette, Joyce Hammer, and Wanda Weber.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family.


As per Linda's wish, there will be no formal services at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the future with a date and time to be announced.  Memorials, if desired,  may be made in Linda's name to White Water Christian Cemetery or the American Cancer Society.  Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
