Linda Kay Snider

FARMINGTON Linda Kay Snider of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2021 at the age of 71. She was born on December 26, 1949, in Iron Mountain, Missouri to the late Willard and Lester (Abney) Hammond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Danny Henderson and her brother-in-law, Harold Herzog. Linda is survived by her husband, James A. Snider, Jr., her daughter, Lisa (and husband Steven) Clary of Farmington, her grandchildren, Joseph Clary, Meika Stienkemeyer, William Clary, and Ryker Stienkemeyer, her siblings, Ronald (and wife Mary) Hammond of Farmington, Virginia Gale Herzog of Farmington, Fay (and husband Bob) Henderson of Farmington, Carol (and husband Larry) Dunkin of Troy, and Cindy (and husband Wayne) Pitts of Park Hills, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Linda retired from SORTS after serving for over twenty years as a licensed practical nurse. She enjoyed playing scratch offs and feeding the birds. She was a simple woman but was also very smart and witty. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel.
