Lidle 'Glenwood' Barnes

PARK HILLS Lidle "Glenwood" Barnes formerly of Park Hills passed away November 16, 2018 at NHC in Maryland Heights at the age of 91. He was born February 3, 1927, in Bonne Terre to the late William Henry and Ollie (Pyatt) Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Winfred Barnes, Cletus Barnes, David Barnes, Ivan Barnes and Kenneth Barnes. Glenwood retired from the City of Park Hills where he worked in maintenance for the parks department. He enjoyed working on cars and was quite the story teller. Glenwood is survived by his brother, Billy (& wife Doritha "Dee") Barnes Sr. of St. Louis and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00am at Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory. Private inurnment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
