Leslie 'Les' Bagwell

FARMINGTON Leslie "Les" Dale Bagwell, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on June 13, 2024, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center at the age of 65. He was born on July 4, 1958, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Vernon Bagwell and Randy Ruth Payne.

Les is survived by his daughter, Brooke Bagwell; sister, Angie (David) Pigg; and his ex-wife, Susan Bagwell.

Les was preceded in death by his parents; his niece, Jessica Moore; and his stepfather, Dutch Desich.

He worked as a substance abuse counselor at Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health for many years. He made a significant impact by helping numerous individuals on their journey to recovery. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting baseball cards, reading books, and listening to music.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Inurnment scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 9 a.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Share your condolences and memories at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
