Leonard Halim

Leonard Halim of Farmington, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008, at his residence, at the age of 73 years. He was born September 6, 1934, in St. Louis, son of the late Sam and Rose (Safula) Halim. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Halim, brothers, John and Walter Halim, and sisters, Bonnie, Lillian and Juanita. Leonard served his country in the Korean War as a U. S. Marine, and retired from Anheuser Busch as a laborer. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Stella (Roberts) Halim, two sons, Mark Halim and wife, Cathy of St. Louis, and Michael Halim of Farmington, a daughter, Sheryl Schneider of Farmington, five grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a brother, Robert Halim and wife, Gloria of St. Louis. Several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 14, 2008, from 10 a.m-12 p.m with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. noon, with Minister David Mills officiating. Burial will follow at the Halim Cemetery at Davis Crossing. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
