Leon "Bud" Hardwick

Leon "Bud" M. Hardwick of Desloge passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011, at NHC Healthcare of Desloge, at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 25 days. He was born on August 9, 1921, at Roselle, MO, son of the late James Edward Hardwick and the late Daisy Belle (Borden) Hardwick Bradford. He was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Lois Boyer and a brother, Charles Hardwick Sr. Mr. Hardwick proudly served his country in the U. S. Army Air Force in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. He is survived by three nieces, Inez Long of St. Peters, Janet George of St. Charles, and Shannon Hardwick of Norfolk, VA, and three nephews, Robert George of the State of Colorado, Mike George of the State of California and Charles Hardwick Jr. of Norfolk, VA. Numerous other relatives, friends and his special friends at NHC Healthcare also survive. A graveside service with Military Honors will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 10 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
