FARMINGTON Leo James Rheaume, of Farmington, formerly of Lynn, Massachusetts, entered into eternal rest on May 11, 2022, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 83. Leo was born on July 14, 1938, in White Horse, Canada and was raised by his grandparents who preceded him in death. Leo is survived by his daughter, Melissa "Missy" Helms and husband, Otis of Farmington, six grandchildren, Aaron, Alex, August, Carley, Emery, and Mary Jo, his great grandchildren, Ryker, Macy Jo, Rylee and Wade, his special friend and ex-wife, Yvonne Gipson, along with many other family members and friends. Leo proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes. He was a very outspoken man and loved to talk and tell stories about "back East" (his hometown of Lynn). He was a collector of movies, CDs, wolf and Indian memorabilia, and everything Reba McEntire. He enjoyed cooking and eating and one of his favorite things to do was getting together with family for a barbecue. He loved his family and friends and was always there for everyone. Leo will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Per Leos request, no formal services will be held. A private celebration of life will be held for family and friends.
