Leah Burnette

Leah M. Burnette of Farmington passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 102 years. She was born on September 24, 1904 at Knob Lick, the daughter of the late George Elias and Wilhelmina (Rudy) Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lemuel Fiddle Burnette. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Burnette Margreiter of Kirkwood, two grandsons, John Zahradka (Cathy) of St. Louis and Matthew Zahradka (Sandra) of Ballwin, and two great-granddaughters, Lindsay and Nicole, both of Ballwin. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2006. Visitation will be Saturday from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. James King officiating. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
