Larry Neil Landers, 68, of Farmington passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He was born July 24, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, son of the late Bill and Estelle (Lewis) Landers. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Rene' Landers and his baby brother, Terry Dale Landers. Larry was a native of Esther where he attended school and was known as an awesome basketball player. In 1971 he married the love of his life, Susan Carrozza who survives. Larry was notorious for being the owner/operator of the Dug-Out Sports Bar and Grill. He is best remembered for his contagious sense of humor that made everybody laugh. In addition to his wife, Sue he is survived by a daughter, Lezlie Greggs, a son, Larry Landers II and a daughter, Shannon Landers and her companion Tim Johnson all of Farmington; nine grandchildren; a brother, Billy Landers and his wife Sue of Doe Run and several special nieces, nephews and a host of many friends. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Visitation will resume on Thursday from at 7:00 am with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.
