Larry Davis

FARMINGTON Larry Davis of Farmington passed away March 9, 2018 at the age of 70. He was born July 24, 1947 in Ironton, Missouri to the late Bill and Betty (Sherrill) Davis.

Larry graduated from high school in 1965 in Annapolis, Missouri. He went on to work for thirty years for his father at Bill Davis Electric in Park Hills. For the past twenty-one years he owned and operated Stix and Steins Bar and Grill in Farmington. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing. His true passion was collecting antiques. Larry had a sharp wit, a dry sense of humor and a very generous nature.

Survivors include his two daughters, Melanie Davis of Farmington and Marta (Mike) Vishy of Imperial; one grandson, Jake Vishy; former wife and loyal friend, Brenda (Malloy) Davis of Piedmont; a brother, Jack (Rhea) Davis of Farmington; two nieces, Christa (Todd) McKinney and Sarah Hand, both of Farmington; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Malloy of Piedmont; sister-in-law, Alice Malloy, of Bedford, VA; brothers-in-law, Marty Malloy of Wentzville and David (Mary Jo) Malloy of Sikeston. Also surviving are a host of extended family and good friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 5 8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Piedmont.
