Ladena Barbara Jean Moore

IRONTON Ladena Barbara Jean Moore of Ironton passed away October 3, 2020 at Mercy South in St. Louis at the age of 63. She was born on January 30, 1957 in Farmington to the late James Robert and Edna Viola (Usher) Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leroy Moore, her great granddaughters, Zuriah Kellum and an angel baby, and her siblings, Charles Parker, Gerald Parker, Gary Asher, Jesse Asher, Eddie Parker and Fucia Wilson. Ladena is survived by her daughters, Angela Ladena (David) Dicus of Bismarck and Melissa Ann (Ken Petrie) McCleary of Arcadia, nine grandchildren, Christina, Jessica, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Ethan, Melvin "JoJo", Daisy, Skylar, and Coty, seven great grandchildren, Marcellus, Malakai, Aurora, Owen, Ian, Izaya, and Paxton, her special friend, Martin Tyndall of Kissee Mills along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Ladena was a long time member of Iron Mountain Assembly of God Church where she loved singing and playing the piano. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing, boating, playing Aggravation and listening to Jimmy Swaggart but most of all she loved spending time with her grand kids. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8 from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Layne Cemetery in Park Hills. If attending the visitation and/or service, wearing a mask is required per the St. Francois County mandate.
