Farmington, MO

Kimberlee Marie Welker was born June 22, 1967, to her loving parents, Cecil and Alma (Whaley) Welker. Kim passed away after a very short illness on January 25, 2025, at 57 years of age. Many family members and friends were by her bedside when she quietly went to sleep (John 11:11-13).

Kim was a very caring and loving person Always ready to help friends and family. She showed the self-sacrificing love Jesus described at John 13:34. No one even had to mention that there was a need. She would take the initiative if she saw there was a need. She was as generous as she could be, and she often felt like she could do more.

It was important to her to take care of her aunt, two grandmothers, and a spiritual sister so they could spend their last days in their homes.

Kim worked at Tradition Inn Banquet Center for many years. She especially enjoyed organizing the events. She was fantastic at organizing things.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Theodore and Charlotte Welker, maternal grandparents, Ruby and Bernard “Beano” Jones and Bud Whaley, and special aunts, Charlene Goff and Barbara Reese.

Kim is survived by her parents, Cecil and Alma (Whaley) Welker, her brother Dan Welker, bonus brother, Howard (Rachel) Sansoucie, her daughters, JoyEllen Welker and RubyAna’ Welker (James Rideout), her precious son, Bradlee Welker, one grandson (whom she loved dearly) Oliver Rideout, nephews, Garrett (Nikki) Welker and Greg (Emily) Welker, bonus nephews, Zek (Rachael) Wagganer and Paul (Elizabeth) Sansoucie, her cousins, Jeremy (Abbey) Goff, Wesley (Robin) Goff, and Tim Goff, her very special uncle, Bill Goff, a very dear best friend, Gary Urhahn, and special cousin, Hilda Ballew who helped her in so many ways. She is also survived by many other family members who have helped and encouraged Kim through the years.

She is also survived by dear friends who she considered as sisters, Heather Wagganer, Deana Todt, Karen Friedeck, Tammy Mansell, Sue Clem, Gloria Brunelle, and Cheryl Gallaher.

Kim was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 3, 1982, and served many years in the full-time ministry. Her love and faith in her God Jehovah helped her have a joyful, purposeful life as well as sustained her through hard times. She loved her spiritual family at the Desloge Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and many surrounding kingdom halls.

Kim requested there be no formal service, but she did want all her friends and family to know how much she loved them and hoped she’d see them after the resurrection in Jehovah’s promised new world that his son Jesus will soon bring about. (Matthew 5:5, Psalm 37:29, Revelation 21:3,4) We will all miss her until that time comes. Share your condolences and memories at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
