Kevin Lee Walker

October 7, 1963 — September 20, 2017

KANSAS CITY Kevin Lee Walker passed away on September 20, 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born October 7, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Ronald Edward Walker and Ann Walker, who survives. In addition to his beloved father, who was his best friend, Kevin was also preceded in death by an awesome nephew, Walker Henry Johns in 2011.

Kevin Walker, a/k/a "Kev" - "Uncle Kebie" - "Bo-Bo", was a stellar human being whose dedication to the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs defined who he was, not to mention his love for family and friends. He was a graduate of Farmington High School in 1982 and Mineral Area College in 1984. He played baseball throughout under Coach Cramp and Coach Lowery, two men revered by Kevin.

Following acadamia, Kevin began a career in sales under his fathers tutelage. His thirty year career took him to Kansas City, Missouri, Scotsdale, Arizona and Columbia, South Carolina. The beginning of his last journey became his last when he returned to Kansas City where his heart was to begin a new journey.

He will be missed by those who knew and loved him including his mother, Ann Walker; sister, Kim Hand; nephew, Koby Hand; niece, Randi Parks, all of Farmington, Missouri; and sister, Kelly Johns (Kenny) and niece, Zoe Johns, all of Farmington.

At Kevins request, there will be no formal services. Memorials, if desired, may be made in Kevins name to the Walker Johns Childhood Cancer Foundation. View the tribute video, the online obituary and share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
