Kevin W. Ketch Ketcherside of Farmington passed away on August 13, 2006 at St. Anthonys Hospital at the age of 43 years. He was born on December 10, 1962, at Fredericktown, the son of Paul Henry Ketcherside Sr. and Betty Lou (Durbin) Ketcherside. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ketcherside and a brother, Paul Ketcherside Jr. Kevin was known as Ketch among his family and friends. He was a very loving, generous person and anyone that ever came in contact with him loved him. He was paralyzed 28 years ago this month and he made the best out of his life in a wheelchair. His last words were, I want to go home to be with my mom, so let the angels that I saw in my room take me to Heaven. He is survived by his father, Paul Ketcherside Sr., three sisters, Pam Parker, Barb Ketcherside, and Edna (Lloyd) Whitener, a brother, Stan (Julie) Ketcherside, all of Farmington, and a very special best friend, Jean Wilson, his caregiver that he grew to love, and a nephew he grew up with , Greg (Samantha) Ketcherside, and Uncle Charlie (Sandy) Durbin of Dupo, IL. Other nieces and nephews that loved him dearly, Marcus (Reese) Brackett, Elishia Parker, Jamie Thurston, Mendy (Josh) Finley, Robie Thurston, Travis (Debbie) Thurston, George (Tina) Whitworth, Misty (Tony) French, great nieces & nephews, Stanton, Easton, Grant, Eli, Audrey, Zackery, Hannah, Kenneth, Destanie and Kristion, his special grandkids, Ashley, Tim, and Heaven, and step-daughters, Crystal and Brenda. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family, c/o Cozean Memorial Chapel.
