Kevin C. Mayberry

JACKSON –On August 9, 2024, Kevin C. Mayberry, of Jackson, passed through the gates of Heaven. Kevin was born on November 30, 1959, in Texas at Fort Hood Army Hospital to Vearl and Sylvia (Richey) Mayberry, who preceded him in death.

Kevin is survived by his brothers, Sergeant Major (RET) Keith Mayberry of Killeen TX and Kenny (Janine) Mayberry of Cape Girardeau, MO. He was a proud uncle to Kristin (Mike) Sterrett, Kory (Cassandra) Mayberry, Kameron Mayberry, and Kaden Mayberry.

Kevin was a great athlete in his high school and college years. He was selected as a National all American. Kevin loved watching the Denver Broncos and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved riding dirt bikes and playing league softball in his adult life. Kevin was an HVAC technician by trade and an energy manager. He served Digital Equipment Corporation, Summit County Schools and Southeast Missouri State University. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
