PARK HILLS - Kenneth Wayne Dawes, 50, formerly of Caledonia, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1961 at Caledonia, son of Leota (Blair) Dawes and the late Jesse W. Dawes Sr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister Irma Jean Bingaman, and two brothers, Michael Ray Dawes and John Daniel Dawes. Kenny was employed as a diesel mechanic with Maxson Construction, where he had worked for the past 19 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his sons in the "family" garage. Kenny will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his mother Leota Dawes of Caledonia, Tina Steward, his loving companion of Farmington, three sons, Billy and wife Angela Dawes of Bonne Terre, Chris and wife Chelsea of Park Hills, and Brad Dawes of Farmington, step-daughter Jennifer Heinrichs of Potosi, step-son Dusty Nienkamp of Farmington, two brothers Buddy Dawes and Chuck Dawes both of Caledonia, two sisters, Betty Jellinek of Bismarck and Polly Boyer of Cadet, and four grandchildren Noah, George, Kalub, and Myah. Many friends, neighbors and other relatives also survive. The family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Kenneth W.
