Kenneth L. Mell

Kenneth Leeman Mell of Farmington passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013, at the age of 79. He was born on April 27, 1933, in Farmington son of the late Marvin Adam and Etha Fern (Thomas) Mell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Mell and Marshall Mell. "Kenny" as most knew him grew up in Farmington where he graduated from high school in 1951. He went on to become an Electrician and was self employed for many years. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor who was the ultimate cut-up. Survivors include his children, Steve (Judy) Mell, Tony (Debbie) Mell, Lori (Lance) Sprenkel, Rod (Terri) Mell and Jeff Mell; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Mell and David Mell; a sister, Delores Cleve and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Thursday, February 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor James King officiating.
