FARMINGTON - Kelly Gore Hartupee passed away at Parkland Health Center on January 12, 2025, at the age of 56. She was born January 31, 1968, in Fredericktown, Missouri to the late John Alonzo Gore and Connie Angela (Wright) Gore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linsey Dann in 2003 and a sister, Tammy Walker.
Kelly grew up in Ste. Genevieve and attended school in Farmington. She went on to Mineral Area College where she went through the police academy. She worked as a children's caregiver and owned Color Me Country Kids, a daycare business. Her love of crafting and woodworking led her to open a craft store which she called Color Me Country Creations. Her favorite pastimes included travel, riding horses, and camping.
Kelly loved life and family get-togethers. She especially loved spending time with her seven grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Amanda Kennedy and Josh Dann; seven grandchildren, Riley Schrag, Averi Logan, Karson Kennedy, Kaleena Dann, Kamryn Kennedy, Eli Dann and Ethan Dann; her companion, Tom Winkler; three sisters; nieces, nephews and extended family.
There will be a memorial service at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 4 p.m. Memorials if desired may be made to the American Lung Association in Kelly's name. View the tribute video and share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
