Kathy E. Byrd

Kathy E. Byrd of Farmington passed away on October 11, 2006 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 61 years. She was born on May 23, 1945, in Cherry Point, NC, the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy (Bentley) Gillen. She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Paul N. Byrd, son, Andrew P. Byrd of St. Louis, three daughters, Elizabeth A. Potts of Ferguson, Stephanie K. Byrd and Victoria L. Collins (Timothy), of Florissant, three grandchildren, Sara, Brady & Shaun, brother, David Gillen (Susan) of Branson, sister, Margaret Cook of Chicago, IL, several nieces, nephews and a host of other friends and relatives. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2006. Visitation will resume on Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Church of Farmington. Burial will follow at Libertyville Methodist Cemetery.
