Kathleen Ann Madigan

BONNE TERRE Kathleen Ann Madigan, of Bonne Terre, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2023, at her home at the age of 84. She was born on August 10, 1939, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to the late Lawrence and Irene (Vandergeeten) Halron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Halron and her brother-in-law, Dave OBrien. Kathleen is survived by her children, Mark (Kim) Madigan of Sikeston, MO, Mary (Ronald) Robinson of Bonne Terre, MO, Scott (Kirsten) Madigan of Houston, TX, and David Madigan of Houston, TX, her grandchildren, Kathleen Greer, Erin Turpin, and Jonathon Madigan, her great grandchildren, Henry and Rekkr, her siblings, Janice OBrien of Green Bay, WI, Patricia (Norman) Leary of Cincinnati, OH, and Stephen (Sandi) Halron of Appleton, WI, her sister in law, Ann Halron of Atlanta, GA, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Kathleen was a military wife and a homemaker who moved with her family many times during her husbands military career. Later in life, she lived with Mary, her daughter, for 11 years and helped her raise her girls. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in De Pere, Wisconsin where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed playing tennis and the piano. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Father William Thess.
