FARMINGTON - Karen Joy Irvin of Farmington, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus at the age of 43 years. She was born on August 9, 1972 at Farmington. Karen was a member of Farmington First Assembly of God Church. She was employed as a Special Education Teacher at W. L. Johns Early Childhood Center in Farmington and later as a Director for Sylvan Learning Center in St. Louis. She is survived by her parents Curtis E. and Connie R. (Owen) Irvin of Farmington, a brother Brian (& Julie) Irvin of Farmington, a niece Mia Irvin, two step-nephews Connor and Eli Eckhoff, her church family, other relatives, and many dear friends. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Old Union Cemetery near Marble Hill. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Farmington First Assembly of God Church.
