Karen Emery

BISMARCK - Karen Emery, entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2022, in Bismarck at the age of 57. She was born March 28, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Larry Christopher Hunt and Nova Evelyn (Goode) Aldridge. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Emery; a son, James Jesse Emery; a brother, Dennis Boone and nephew Cole Jacob Dillon. Karen will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her loving, giving and forgiving nature and her wit and charm. All of these qualities were advantageous for her chosen career in home health care. Her passion was spending time with her five beloved grandbabies. She was a jack of all trades who loved to crochet, do woodworking and go dancing. Karen was in her element relaxing with a Coca-Cola and her Marlboro Red 100's. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her including her children, Dustin (Bethany) Hunt and Jonathan (Crystal) Hunt; grandchildren, Hayden Hunt, Emelia Hunt, Elliana Hunt, Chloe Hunt, and Madison Emery; siblings, Glenda Kohler, Sandy (Woody) Drennen, and Christine (Randy) Dillon; special caretakers, nieces, Brandi Dillon and Heather Dillon; nieces and nephews, Larry (Angie) Kohler, Adam Kohler, Robert Kohler, Danielle Kohler, Railean King, Andrea Underwood and several great nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends.
