Joyce Lorraine Crossett

FARMINGTON Joyce Lorraine Crossett, passed from this life into Life Eternal on November 11, 2016 at the age of 75. She was born July 10, 1941 to the late Frank and Leanna (Barnes) Burgess.

Joyce was united in marriage to Euell Gene Crossett Sr. on September 17, 1960. To this union three children were born. One son, Euell Gene Crossett, Jr. of Farmington and two daughters, Luann (Mrs. David) Honerkamp of Park Hills and Lisa Renee Crossett. Lisa died unexpectedly in 2009. In addition to her parents and daughter, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joey Burgess, two sisters, Joann Burgess and Beverly LaBreyere, and three brother-in-laws, John LaBreyere, Jerry Garrett and Jim Wilkson.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Gene, and children, Euell and Luann. Joyce was a loving grandmother to Rachel and Jeremy Gann, Josh (Missey), Justin and Ryan Honerkamp, and great-grandmother to Mason Honerkamp. Three beautiful sisters also survive, Shirley Wilkson, Farmington, Sharon Garrett and Linda Underwood (Greg), both of Aberdeen, MS and one precious sister-in-law, Janis Burgess of Farmington. Joyce was truly blessed with numerous sweet nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who will continue to celebrate her life.

Joyce spent her life as a loving wife and mother and will be missed by many. She trusted God as her Lord and Savior and was a powerful prayer warrior. She is now reaping her eternal reward in Heaven.

The family will receive friends at First Free Will Baptist Church from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, November 14 with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
