BONNE TERRE Joshua James Tripp, 26, passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, May 29, 2022. He was born on January 1, 1996 in Farmington to Couper T. Simms and Carmelia Evyonne (Barton) Tripp. He was preceded in death by a sister, Angel Nicole Tripp, maternal grandmother, Alice Harris, maternal grandfather, Noel Harris, his paternal grandmother, Patsy Marie Maybe, and two special friends, Michael Franks and Floyd Snyder. Josh was a 2016 graduate of North County High School and went on to work at the Glass Factory and at CiCis Pizza. Being the son of two truck drivers, he was brought up around trucks and had trucking in his blood. He went to truck driving school at Mineral Area College and then got his CDL. He was currently working for Beelman Trucking Company and he was happy with his over the road job. Josh was known to have a thrill-seeking personality and enjoyed kayaking, skydiving, and motorcycling. He loved the outdoors being near a stream or lake fishing. His family and his biker family "Da Family" were important to him. He had a heart of gold the size of Texas. Survivors include his mother, Carmelia Tripp and "dad" Dave McLamore; his father, Couper T. Simms; step father, Thomas Boren; his paternal grandfather, William G. Maybe Jr.; his special sister, Miranda Tripp; brothers, Rion Boren, Christopher Boren, David Boren and Joseph Tripp; nephews and nieces, Lane Boren, Tucker Boren, Maddie Boren and David "Colton" Boren, Audrey Boren; a special lady who was like a second mom, Brenda Goodman; aunts and uncles, Dee and Jim Weber, Joe Kerns, La Donna Glore and Deanea Simms; cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Cozean Chapel from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev.
