Joshua Daniel Moore

FLORISSANT - Joshua Daniel Moore, 36, of Florissant, MO passed away Saturday, August 15 as a result of an automobile accident in Fredericktown, Missouri. Joshua was born on July 6, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Linda Moore. He attended Northwest Christian Academy, Westminster Christian Academy and graduated in 1997 from McCluer High School. He served in the U. S. Army from 1997 to 2001. He was stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas and served in Bosnia. After his discharge from the Army he worked in security at several Federal installations in the St. Louis area. He received his Associate's degree in Business from St. Louis Community College where he graduated with honors and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In recent years he served as Operations Manager at Jamestown Mall. Joshua was a caring and loving father to his two children, Alexander and Jordan who were the loves of his life. He had a tender heart for anyone who had needs of any kind and always did his utmost to help others. He is survived by his children, Alexander, 14 and Jordan, 12, of Florissant; his father and mother, James and Linda Moore of Albany, Indiana; his brother, Jared and wife, Krystal and nieces, Mya and Kami, all of Lilbourn, Missouri. Other extended family also survive. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 22 at Community Christ Fellowship at 121 Williams Blvd., Hazelwood, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be accepted to a Memorial Education Fund for the benefit of Alexander and Jordan Moore.
