Jonathan Eric Bryant

Jonathan Eric Bryant, of Farmington passed away May 8, 2021 at his residence at the age of 37. He was born March 8, 1984 to Beverly Ann (Poncet) Bryant and the late Eric Randal Bryant. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Alice Bryant; and maternal grandparents, Aime Thomas Poncet and Verna Marie Westphal. Jonathan was a 2002 graduate of Farmington High School. He went on to attend Unitec where he became a certified welder. He worked for William Patton Crusher, Lee Mechanical and Classic Equine. He also worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken, Little Tykes, Stix and Steins and in the landscape business as well. He loved his kids and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved to camp and swim. Jonathan was very musical and loved singing and playing his guitar. Classic cars were a favorite hobby and he enjoyed his restored 1970 LTD. Everyone who knew him will remember his infectious personality. Survivors include his wife, Ashley (Meyer) Bryant; two children, Jackson Bryant and Haylee Elders; his mother, Beverly Ann (James Pope) Bryant; siblings, Sherry (Jason) LeClere, Brandon Thomas (Libby) Bryant, Andrew Joseph (Jessica) Bryant and Erin Elizabeth (Randall) Czapla; nieces and nephews, Hollie Bryant, Abbie LeClere, Ethan Bryant, Zachary Bryant, Dylan Bryant, J.J. Bryant, Gabe Bryant, Macie Czapla, Reece Czapla and Jude and Rynn Thurman, his God-Parents, Dennis Poncet and Paula Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday beginning at 8 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel.
