John Lewis Cartee

FARMINGTON John Lewis Cartee, of Farmington passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at his residence at the age of 52 years. He was born August 16, 1964 at Fredericktown. He was preceded in death by his father the late John Earl Cartee.

John was employed as a glassmaker at Piramal Glass USA in Park Hills. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. His greatest enjoyment came from, as he liked to put it, "making memories" with his kids, family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Paula M. Cartee of Farmington, his mother Alice L. (Hamor) Bader & husband John of Farmington, two children, Caleb Cartee (& fianc Cassidy Whitener) of Farmington, and Lauren Cartee of Farmington, a sister Tammy Cartee (& Ray Hahn) of Farmington two nieces Shellie Pickering and Alissa Hahn, two nephews, Tristen Hahn and Jason Barton and a large host of extended family and friends and his pal "Rowdy."

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Mike Barton officiating.
