John Herbert Jones

FARMINGTON- John H. Jones of Farmington passed away on February 5, 2021 at his residence at the age of 75. He was born on March 26, 1945, in Ironton, Missouri to the late Charles Hugh and Donna Belle (Holeton) Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Morrish Green. John proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a 4th degree Knight for the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. John is survived by loving wife of 53 years, Karen (Kelley) Jones, his children, Stephen (Sarah) Jones of Potosi and Kelley Manion of Park Hills, his grandchildren, Kylee Manion, Ian Jones, and Jeffrey Clouse, great granddaughter, Kenna Manion, his siblings, C. Stephen (Jackie) Jones of Port St. Lucie, FL, Donna Green of Livingston, MT, and Anne (William) Moss of Desloge along with many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington officiated by Father William Thess.
