FARMINGTON John E. Ratliff, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on March 4, 2022, at his residence in Farmington surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 87. He was born on July 12, 1934, in Bunker, Missouri to the late Marvin and Alma (Miner) Ratliff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son -in-law, Kevin P. Ryan, his siblings, Bernadine Ratliff, Jerry Ratliff, sister-in-law, Janice Ratliff, sister-in-law, Rose Ratliff, and his brother-in-law, Bob Johnson. John married the love of his life, Glenna Bruce, on October 13, 1956. John is survived by his wife of 65 years, Glenna Ratliff, his daughters, Pat Ryan of Farmington and Marlene (husband, David) Womack of Farmington, his grandchildren, Angela (husband, Adam) Lambay, Shawn (wife, Carrie) Cook, David Womack Jr., and Shelley Womack, his great grandchildren, Carmen, Abigail, Mason, Julia, and Megan, his siblings, Betty Lou Johnson of Oklahoma, Don (wife, Pat) Ratliff of Florida, David Ratliff of Eminence, and Barbara Matthews of Farmington, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. John proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and Air Force Reserves. John was a retired Missouri State Park Ranger. He was a 74-year member of First Baptist Church of Farmington actively serving as deacon, trustee, and many other roles; his favorite was singing in the choir. John was a member of the Lions Club and was a lifetime member of the 67 Gun Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing but most of all loved being with his family. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10:00am on Friday, March 11, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Farmington officiated by Pastor Greg Robinson. Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
