John Arthur Dober

FARMINGTON John Arthur Dober, of Farmington, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, entered into eternal rest on February 1, 2023, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 80. John was born on May 26, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late William Vincent and Ruth (Parsons) Dober. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom Dober and Jimmy Dober and his sister, Joann Clemons. John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bonnie (Wheeler) Dober, his children, Michele Basham of Farmington, Vincent Dober of Vermont, Kimberly (Petie) Cropp of Ironton, and Lisa Marie (Angel) Valentin of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Suzette Bauer, Vincent Dober Jr., Colton Dober, Austin Dober, Evanna Dober, Johnna Dober, Jeffrey Sylvia, Leah Molina, Justin Sylvia, McKenna Cropp, Brandon Sommers, and Jamie Sommers, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, special canine companion, Chubbys and special feline friend, Ms. Viola. John enjoyed watching old black and white westerns, the beauty of nature, and all forms of wildlife. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
